My two children refused to take a bottle at all. With the first one I was trying bottle every second day for a 6 months. Finally something clicked in the head around 6th month and she took it. With the second child I tried bottle ones and around 6th month again and clicked it. My advice for you is to not panic, one day she will be back to normal :)

Breastfeeding help

Hello,

I'm a new Mum with a 5 month old baby. I have taken a year out and planned to bf until I go back to work- and gradually decease this to phase out completely by the time I return. My Daughter has always been fine with taking a bottle (before bed and once in the afternoon) however she was recently ill (just a virus) and has decided to completely refuse anything but breastfeeding- this has gone on for just over two weeks. I have tried getting her really hungry in the hope that she will just take a bottle but nothing comes if it! I have tried using expressed milk in bottles too with no results. I understand this is probably a habit she has formed because I breastfed through the virus but how do I get her back to normal!? If anyone has gone through similar I would love to know if anything worked! Thanks in advance.
