Northcut on Northcote Road have always been fantastic with babies, although better to come during the week when it's a little quieter. They do kids haircuts as well, very reasonably priced.

I highly recommend Rebecca (there is a thread on NVN of her regular customers raving about her), she is amazing with highlights as other stylists take forever and she works like a machine. Especially important when you have a baby in tow or your other half at home with 2 kids ;-)

I believe that Charlotte Cave on Balham High Road has an afternoon when they have an Ofsted Nanny on site to entertain the little ones downstairs while you have your hair done. You could call them to check.

I think most places are okay with little babies, I often see them in Headmasters

There is simply no way my kids would sit through a haircut in a salon so I now have a lovely lady that comes to cut/colour/keratin treat my hair at home. Obviously not as relaxing as going to a salon and being pampered but if the alternative is taking a child with you....

I try and schedule it over nap time which works well. Invariably my youngest wakes up before everything is totally finished but at least at home she can run about and play with her toys or be entertained more easily. Mellissa is very relaxed for me about my being up and down dealing with the kids during the cut.
