We mainly had landscaping done and Asa was very helpful with design and suggesting materials. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them!
We had a bad experience with Asa after he emailed the following "
Its been a real pleasure meeting you but Im afraid on reflection we aren't going to be able to continue with your project - I do feel that we have been chasing you a little and Im not sure how well that bodes for receiving future and final payments etc."
This was after Asa called us during a crisis (lost passport on day of travel) and we explained that we had some queries on the quote, timing wasn't right as we needed it doing sooner, and we'd get back to him after the holiday to finalise everything. There was a lot of pressure to pay deposits upfront, etc, but the quote/schedule of works were not finalised and still fluid.
I find it utterly appalling and downright offensive that somebody would send an email like that at a time of crisis, suggesting we’re not good for the money, it was utterly bizarre!
The quotes were always wrong and not completely transparent in terms of the breakdown of labour, materials and contingency, and he was quite expensive compared with others.
I can recommend another company that we opted for after falling out with Asa
