We are an English family looking for an au pair to help look after our wonderful son, aged 4 and starting school in September. We are looking for a reliable, kind and fun-loving person who is a very good English speaker, and has credible experience working with children of a similar age as a nanny or au pair.
About us
We live in a beautiful house in Clapham, South West London which has fantastic transport links and brilliant green space. It's a lively area with numerous shops and restaurants as well as lots of young families, au pairs/nannies. We both work, and regularly work from home too, so need a spare pair for hands mainly before and after the school day.
Expectations
We are looking for an au pair to look after our son. You should create a safe and happy environment, where he can feel loved and have fun whilst upholding manners and attributes – kindness, consideration, good table manners etc.
You will have your own double bedroom and bathroom plus internet access.
We would like you to work around 30 hours per week and provide availability for two nights babysitting per week. He starts school in September and will be at school from 8.30 to 3.30pm during term time. We will need help taking/picking him up as well as general household chores. Whilst this is a Live-In vacancy, there is flexibility for Live-Out for the right person.
Our preferred start date is early September.
DBS check and strong references essential. First aid course desirable.
