Hi - I asked the same thing on this site about 18 months ago and happily found exactly what I was looking for.
Please do contact Sorcha, a local mum - here are her details.

I highly recommend - great firm to work with and beautiful finish on the kitchen.

Hi Hannah
Kitchen Co-Ordination is a kitchen design Studio specialising in Rational - Italian Designed German Built Furniture - we create Beautiful Kitchens - please check out our website www.kitchencoordination.co.uk
We cannot compete with Howdens - but our kitchens are graded 1 -8 on the lower grades we are comparable to Magnet - but for a much better quality kitchen
It really depends what your £12-15K budget is to include - if it is to cover appliances also - then I think you will struggle with most companies -once the appliances come off - it depends what you are left with in your budget
This really will determine where you should be looking
Happy to talk to you and give you an honest opinion
Vivienne

Sola Kitchens http://www.solakitchens.com/ are very good. Their kitchens are designed and built to last a life-time

Try asking the Shaker Kitchen Co just on Abbeville Rd for a quote too. My friends had theirs from there recently and it looked really good. The prices on the website look comparable to the prices you've quoted.

Have you looked at Higham? http://www.higham.co.uk/
I have just ordered my kitchen from them and have had amazing service so far. You can really bring the price down by choosing fewer but wider units.

Sorry, I have re read my post and it should say suppliers rather than fitter I guess. I am after an alternative to Howdens, Wren etc without going too high end like Devol/Tom Howley. I have read there are independent kitchen companies that will design and build/fit a kitchen at reasonable prices. Is there such a thing at reasonable prices in or around London?!?

Independent kitchen company

Hi there,
We are currently looking at new kitchens. We have looked at all the usual suspects (Howdens, Wren etc) as well as a couple of bespoke fitters. We have a budget of 12-15k so the couple of bespoke fitters we have spoken to so far have exceeded that. Can anyone recommend any independent kitchen fitters relatively local to Clapham that won't blow the budget? I have read other threads that have said the quality is far superior to chains like Howdens etc and the price does not really differ. I am yet to find any of these independent fitters so if anyone can recommended some then that would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance
Hannah
