We are looking for a very special someone to join our family.
We currently live in Enfield (North London) with a plan to move to a different location in the near future.

We are looking for a Personal assistant/Carer/Companion to live in with us to help my partner, who has a disability.
My partner was involved in an accident as a child which resulted in a severe brain injury. The brain injury mainly affects his balance and the use of his hands. He can walk and move around but does require assistance at times as he tends to lose his balance.
He needs help with Daily tasks such as:
-Showering, Getting dressed, Brushing his teeth, Putting shoes on and Occasional mealtime help
-Social activities that Josh may want to partake in such as Going to the pub, playing pool, going to the cinema, going to the gym etc.

Our ideal candidate needs to
- Be Self motivated with get up and go and have a positive attitude to life. (A good sense of humour would be a plus, as you have to listen to jokes and laugh at them....even if you don't think they are funny :-) )
- Be comfortable around small children as we have a young baby and My partner needs very occasional assistance with taking care of him.
- Comfortable around dogs. We don't have dogs ourselves although there are occasionally dogs in the house (family pets, they don't just walk in the door! ;-) )
- Have a full clean UK driving license (car provided)
- Hold a valid Passport
- Possess good communication skills
- Be DBS checked or be willing to obtain one
- Be willing to do 3x late nights a week as my partner is a stand up comedian and requires somebody to accompany him to shows and help him on and off stage. (This varies as 3x late nights a week isn't always required)
- Be willing to occasionally muck in around the house. I.e take the bins out if you notice they are full, the odd washing up etc (you aren't required to clean but do feel free if you want to!)
- Be able to Occasionally help with cooking
- Occasionally accompany my partner on trips across the country and sometimes abroad on comedy tours/trips and also on family trips.

Net salary will be £1,120 pm
