My son, who will be three next month, has some speech delay. It is not language delay - his vocabulary is fine and so is his sentence structure - but a problem with producing speech sounds, especially consonants, which other children of his age don’t seem to struggle with. These include c, g, and l.
We can usually understand him and so can his teachers at nursery, but strangers often have problems understanding him.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a local speech therapist who could assess and help him?
Thank you!
