Our MP has confirmed that it was two men who had an ongoing dispute. The injuries were from bottles, not knives (although still serious of course), but not life threatening or changing and not gang related.

How? Increase police presence on the streets? It’s quite naive to think this is up to the Mayor of London to ‘fix’. The only way to improve the situation is for schools, community leaders and parents to educate these young people, provide positive role models, discourage gangs and give them hope for a better future.

It’s gone too far. Sadiq Khan needs to step up to the mark and sort this out as he promised to do so.
Perhaps now that it’s happened on his own patch he will do so.

Two men have been stabbed in broad daylight after a fight broke out outside a busy south London Tube station.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident in Upper Tooting Road at about 6pm on Saturday.

They found found two men suffering from stab injuries near Tooting Bec Tube station.
