It was so many things really! Incorrect quotes time and time again (we had to check every detail to try and make sure there were no mistakes). Incorrect items arriving and needing to be replaced, with more incorrect items coming and again needing to be replaced and fitted, miscommunication about things that we would never have known to ask (like hinge colours and finish on worktops)... the list goes on. Maybe we have just been extremely unlucky but it has been a tedious process. But we are happy with the end result just wish it could have gone a lot smoother and quicker!

Thank you Annesley, you are not the 1st person raising this issue... This is a shame as their design looks very lovely and they are already giving 12 weeks deadlines from ordering. We will be leaving in the property so we would need to keep these deadlines so your comment is raising my concern.
What was the issue exactly? agree on drawing? delivery ? get is fitted?

We have just installed a shaker kitchen from The Shaker Kitchen Company. I cannot fault the quality of the kitchen and it is fantastic for the price (we got about 6 quotes). But their service post the design phase has been totally shambolic. It has taken months and endless visits and revisits to get the kitchen finally fitted. So just a word of warning... lovely kitchen but painful process (for us).

How about the shaker ones at Ikea? I haven't read any reviews but they look really good with a good price?

Hi Everyone

We are in the process or doing our kitchen extension for our new house and I am looking for a Shaker Kitchen supplier

We really fell in love with Devol's kitchens style... but sadly they are a bit over our budget when adding all the bits (top, handles ect) and considering the budget of the extension we are looking for a cheaper alternative (but without compromising on the style )

So far I approached The Shaker Company - which looks very good on the website - and I just had a nice chat with Eclectic Interiors a local kitchen company
Does anyone have any feedback (positive or negative) on the above??

We saw Howdens which were also very nice and effective, however I was bit disappointed with the standard colors and finishing of the painting....
One option would be to have them painted but I am concerned this will increase the price consequently
