on another note can anyone recommend a washing machine repair service PDQ other than the makes own repair service team

I need a local  good and reliable carpenter/ handyman who can fix a cupboard door that was a bodge job  - basically its a sliding door for a wardrobe that was rubbish from the start and now is broken ,a case of you get what you pay for that said I dont want to pay the earth.    Any suggestions would be gratefully received
