Re: Recommendation for mice removal company?

We had a pretty bad mice problem recently and tried loads of different makes of traps and ultrasonic devices. The only trap that worked for us was Procter Pest-Stop Sure-set Plastic Mousetrap, bought on Amazon for £3ish for a twinpack. Peanut butter with a bit of chocolate sticking out proved to be the only bait they would take (tried all sorts of combinations!)
Also, only use each trap a couple of times because they start to smell of humans/dead mouse (sorry gross I know!) and they stop being attracted to them.
We did try the humane route but unsuccessfully, and although it's a bit grim to find them dead in the morning, but I actually became desensitized after a while because I just wanted them gone!
Good luck!

Had mice all over our two-storey flat. Electronic ultrasound plug-in sockets worked for us in our last two properties. Not seen a mouse (or a spider!) since!

I was going to offer my cat, she's very good! ;)

We found that the electronic ultrasound things you plug into sockets worked perfectly and were far superior to poisoning and traps.
Much cheaper and more humane than calling someone out and they work virtually immediately.
Alternatively, adopt a homeless cat :-)

I've obviously been reading too many kids' books - thought maybe someone knew a family of mice who were moving to a new burrow and were looking for the rodent equivalent of Pickfords.

We used Anton, Econokill 07762 936721 to get rid of rats in our garden. He's really nice and charges around £125. He will come as many times as needed unlike the council.

Good luck. Mice seem par for the course in London

We used Indigo to get rid of our squirrels. Nice bloke, seemed genuine, did a good job and didn't charge the earth.

Are you in Wandsworth? The council did a great job for us for £98 for 3 visits.
