Happens every week. Google it. RAF have to respond quickly and their jets go supersonic to meet the Russians infringing on our airspace and testing reaction times.

It was a sonic boom from a fighter jet “scrambled” to ward of a Russian bear bomber.

I work for a defence organisation and we track such sightings.
