I'm trying to consider all possible configurations for extra childcare to create the hours I need in the week! I'm already advertising on here for an after-school nanny, but another option is for me to employ someone to work for
a full day on Friday (I normally only have a few pre-school hours on that day, whereas Mon-Thurs are already sorted until 3.30).
The hours would be
8.15-6.15, and the duties would be: taking my two children (girl, 5) and boy (3) to school and pre-school, doing a little cooking (or some other similarly useful thing) until 12pm, picking up my son from pre-school, giving him lunch, playing with him/taking him to the park, picking up my daughter from school, and then doing the after-school routine until I take over at bath time.
This might be a long shot, but I thought it might suit someone just looking for some more hours to top up their schedule, or to break back into nannying work following maternity leave. I'd be amenable to the nanny bringing their own child along.
Or would any nanny-share families out there be looking for someone to take their nanny on a Friday?
I could also offer extra hours in the holidays, and as babysitting, if of interest.
