Hi everyone,

I'm a freelance journalist and I'm just looking into a feature on dogs being poisoned after walking in parks and eating things that have been deliberately poisoned.

I want to look into the motives behind such a crime - and so far in my research it seems the crime could be indicative of anti-social personality disorder.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any more info on the man poisoning dogs in Battersea Park? Any info would be really helpful - thank you!

He’s been poisoning dogs for well over a year. He is also known by the police and lives in the area. He is often argumentative and aggressive especially with women and women with dogs. Meat and separately discounts have been used to entice the dogs. If you see anything call the police rather than attempting to approach him.

This 52 year old man has been causing chaos all over Battersea for sometime now.
In addition to placing poison for dogs near St Mary's Church Battersea he also used to hit women on the back of their heads as he was passing them by on the street.
He tends to ride an old bicycle and has a guitar case on his back. He normally wears his long grey hair out and with a black bandana around his forehead.
Yesterday, he deliberately laid down on the road in Battersea Square in front of 170 bus refusing to move and falsely claiming that the bus hit him. The police had to be called in order to move him away from the road. This man is a danger to society and should be locked up either in prison or in a mental health institution as he is making Battersea and unsafe place for its residents.

Dog Poisoning

Hi,

I saw something this week (I think a tweet from local police) about deliberate dog poisoning in Battersea Park. Has anyone got any more information on this? Was it just a one off? Where in the park was it? Was it just Battersea Park or other local parks affected too? Have they caught the person responsible?

As a dog owner I am very concerned about this and I’m sure other dog owners would want to be aware too. X
