I hate to put a spanner in the works but any driver employed will need to be insured for hire and reward and, technically, be registered as a H&R driver with TfL - otherwise things could turn nasty if there's an accident - you will not be covered by insurance!
Once you add that cost into the equation, plus fuel, plus a living wage to cover the driving time plus any time hanging around waiting it is normally cheaper, safer (and more legal) to employ a reputable taxi company (such as Addison Lee) to do this instead. AL (among others) specialise in this regular pick up / drop off service for elderly and very young passengers.
