Hi Mummag,

Hope you are surviving the lockdown.

Cindy's Swim School offers lessons for 3 year olds in 2:1 sessions without you in the pool.
www.cindysswimschool.co.uk

We also offer lessons from babies through to adults.

The pools that offer the 2:1 lessons are in SW18, SW17 and SW9.

Please do get in touch if we can help :)

Cindy's :)

Hi there,

I have just seen your post.

if you are interested, we John Hull does swimming lessons in Wimbledon from a private school. We take children from the age of 3 and NO parents are in the water.

We do a Friday evening from 5.30-7.00pm and a Saturday morning from 9.00-11.00am. We also run intensive courses in the holidays - next ones (hopefully) will be summer 2020?. You can visit us on facebook at John Hull Swimming or just email me  if you would like further information on anything.

Many thanks,

Denise Hull

My kids go to South West Swimming school at Emanuelle School. The lessons are a bit pricey but it's the only place where my kids have actually learnt how to swim properly. Staff are very good. We have been going for about three years now.

Dolphin Swim School in Mitcham - it’s a bit further out but well worth the 25 min drive. I’ve been using them for 20 years. Best kids instruction by far - in a purpose built deep pool where they kids can’t put their feet up (so no cheating and they learn much faster). Parking on site and a little play centre next to the pool so very easy even if you have another child in tow.

The leisure centres at Latchmere and Tooting offer swimming lessons (probably all of the local leisure centres do, ie Putney, Wimbledon, Clapham, Streatham). There are also local clubs catering for young swimmers, but I'm not sure they start as young as three (Merton Swordfish at Wimbledon Leisure Centre, Battersea Jacs at Tooting, Wandsworth at Putney and Streatham at, er, Streatham).

There are also many commercial "swimming schools" in the area. I don't have any recommendations on this.

Hello,

I am looking for some recommendations of where has swimming lessons for a 3 year old during the week? Ideally a Wednesday.

Please let me know.

Many thanks
