You should definitely be able to get this done on the NHS
thurleigh rd surgery are doing coil/ implant fitting and removal as normal and have been throughout...... or you can try the Clapham junction sexual health clinic.
privately thrivemedical.co.uk are very good and specialise in  contraception/ coils and are based in Chelsea near the Lister hospital.

Have you contacted your own NHS GP to see if they do coil removals? It’s a very easy procedure and was widely offered by GP practices in pre-lockdown days. Many GP’s are now offering routine non emergency services like children’s vaccinations, smear tests etc, so hopefully might be able to remove your coil .

If you just want your coil removing and not replacing then a private GP clinic should be able to help. I can recommend Coyne Medical in Fulham.

Contraception in lockdown....

Hello - I wondered if anyone has a recommendation for a private sexual health clinic that can help with contraception? The NHS clinics seem to be dealing with emergency type cases only and so I’m not sure that they will see me to remove a coil.

Thanks v much
