Hello has anyone ever tried for a Design and Technology Scholarship for the 11+?

I am interested to learn how much one should push your child re doing their school work and passing exams? I feel we are being a little too ‘soft’ and not being upfront about the competition. It is my mind set to share the facts and add some failing fear - my husband thinks more ‘ make them feel they can do it’ which I 100% agree with BUT also be real..
