Re: Wandsworth (11+) test

Found this old thread and went to the Wandsworth Council site to get clarification, hope this helps.

Students applying to certain schools need to register for the test, with an exemption for those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Registration for the Late Test is closed, and the last deadline for Extra Time requests was November 3, 2023.

Test invitations will be emailed in the week starting November 13, and the test dates vary based on the chosen school.

Extra Time is only available at Ashcroft Technology Academy for approved applicants.

The Late Test is the final opportunity, and results will be emailed before Christmas. Contact details for Pupil Services are provided for further inquiries.

I don't know if it's the same for everyone, but we received our results yesterday.

Apologies if covered elsewhere, but does anyone know the likely date of the 2021 test?

Thanks in advance.

Before Christmas they said the results would be out by the end of January

The late tests that were due to take place on 5/6 January have been cancelled so there are still some children who haven't taken the test

I guess that may delay everyone's results

Does anyone know when the results will be issued? The council website just says the results will be emailed when they become available.

Oh how annoying. we would have preferred that date as my child has had a lot on this week for 11 plus schools. Wish we had been given a choice.
Anyway Good luck to everyone!

We've been bumped to Sat 12 Dec as they don't have space for everyone on Sat 5 Dec. :(

Sorry for my mis-spelling in my last post. It should be "voila" not "viola".

Hi,

I just posted my last post and then viola, the email invitation for Wandsworth Test landed in my inbox.

Good luck to every kid going for the test this week and their 11+ journey. :)

Best wishes,

Re: Wandsworth (11+) test invitation email - Dec 2020

Hi,

We are out of borough but have put Graveney School on our CAF form. We are still waiting for an email invitation for the test this Saturday. Has anyone out of borough received the email invitation already? Can you please me know once you have received it? I'm just worried the email to us might have got lost in the system.

Thank you. I'll also post a reply when I receive the email.

Kind regards,
Michelle

Do any of you know how many questions will be in each of the tests?

From the council website:
If your child attends a state primary school in Wandsworth, they will take the test at school during school time, normally on 3 December 2020. The school will make all the arrangements for this.
If you apply for a place at Ashcroft Technology Academy, Burntwood School, Chestnut Grove Academy, Ernest Bevin College or Graveney School your child will be invited to take the test at one of the borough's test centres on 5 December 2020. We will write to you by email with details of where and when your child will take the test.

It still says 5 Dec on the council website so I think that can be taken as confirmed

One of my children took the test a few years ago and they only gave us the location/timing information 4 days before the test

Those of us with children not in a Wandsworth State primary considering Graveney and Burntwood, assuming we will hear soon about the Test? Apparently due to take place on 5th December but would be good to have this confirmed!
