The Map House on Beauchamp Place is a complete treasure trove of old London maps!

Cassinimaps do historical map gifts online. Just search by postcode on their site for various maps from the past.

Some at the OS

Stanfords online as well https://www.stanfords.co.uk/historical- ... roductions and in Covent Garden are also helpful if you are looking to shop in store.

Try giving Bryars and Bryars in Cecil Court a ring - they know all there is to know about maps.

Hi,
I bought a really old map from the Wandsworth historical society a couple of years ago. But it is newly printed, a reproduction of a 1787 map from British library. Very interesting to see the land pre the mass building.

Otherwise the Northcote Antiques market sometimes has some local ones. And eBay has quite a lot.

Good luck with your search

Old maps

I want to buy my husband an old map of the area for Christmas. Ideally I want it to be an actual old map as opposed to a newly printed one if that makes sense. Has anyone bought one recently? If so could you let me know where? Thanks in advance!
