I'm with hawkes - I thought their response was remarkably restrained.
Even worse: it's 'should have'.

Totally agree - really offensive of those idiots to accuse people of scaremongering when 000s are dying. What can we do about those fools ?

I know 3 families in Wandsworth and Fulham who caught covid over the Christmas holidays. The children were symptom less but the parents were ill. There seems to have been an explosion of outbreaks and transmission during December. Yes I believe the hospitals are overwhelmed.
Sadly there is a lot of this doubting of the seriousness everywhere online. Even Kirsty Allsop is at it on Twitter!

Isn't that the point Luvnyrick, that hospitals have become overwhelmed very quickly, in a matter of a couple of weeks and people need to do their bit and stick with the rules to help the NHS from collapsing under the strain and in turn to save lives.

Thank you for posting the link it is a huge reminder of what the NHS is facing at the moment.

Before Boris Johnson announced new tougher restrictions for England, the BBC was given exclusive access to a London hospital to see how staff were coping with Covid.

From nurses talking about crying when they get home to doctors asking people to stop “bending” the rules because it's leading to people in their 20s, 30s and 40s dying, these are the staff of St George’s Hospital.
