If the sniff of summer sun last week and the impending lifting of lockdown got you thinking about your fun summer days running around a softball field, then we'd love to have you join our softball team!! We've lost a couple of female team members who have moved away from London, and would love to find some new softball lovers join the team!
We're a co-ed recreational team who play in a weekday softball league - we have our competitive moments but plenty more moments in the pub! It's a great mix of fun with a sprinkling of desire to win. If you played softball when younger, but are a bit rusty, this would be perfect for you! And if you feel rusty, you're amongst friends, as the season was mostly cancelled last summer due to lockdown so we're all very much out of practice, and will aim to have some pre-season throw-arounds, covid restrictions permitting!
Games start at 6.45pm, and home games are weds nights, and we will have away games at other London sites. Season runs May - beginning of Aug (to maximise evening light) - so doesn't overlap with school summer holidays much!
We have extra gloves and stuff if you've lost yours en route to London, so don't let that stop you!
