Part-time Nanny Wanted SW18

by RossanaE » Thu Jan 28, 2021 12:47 pm

We are looking for a positive, bubbly and energetic Nanny Housekeeper to work with us on a long term basis. We have two girls who are aged 5 and 8.

The position is of a mixed responsibility which will involve light household and food preparation duties whilst the children are at school and then collecting from school and providing after school childcare until parents return home / finish work. The position will be part-time during term and full-time during the school holidays.

The housekeeping duties will include the general running of the household, keeping the home clean and in good order, laundry, changing beds, running a few errands and family cooking.
The childcare duties will include collecting the girls from schools, taking them to clubs, supervision of after school activities (homework and reading) attending to the daily needs of the girls, keeping them safe, happy and occupied, whilst being responsible for their wellbeing, emotionally and socially, and everything to do with school (uniforms/costumes/projects)! We expect our nanny to ensure the girls have fun educational and social activities out of school.

A driver is required but school is within walking distance to the family home.

We are looking for someone who can offer a long term commitment to ensure stability for the children.

There are currently no pets in the household, and there are no known allergies.

Excellent communication skills are essential as is the need for flexibility, mutual respect and transparency.

The position is of a live out nature, offering 30 hours a week (annualised), with term hours from 1.00pm-7.00pm - Monday through to Thursday/Friday during term and 9.00am-7.00pm during the holidays, commencing as soon as the right person is available.

We are in-between Clapham Junction and Wandsworth Town station.
