I'm sorry you are dealing with this. And it might also be a sign of depression - my ex-husband did this so much. Both the phone and the gaming, and apparently still does it. It can be very hard to get them to recognise it, and I hope that you manage some counselling -- and if he won't go, make sure you get some for yourself, as I found it helped a lot.

I am so sorry you have this happening as it can be so destructive to any relationship. I feel that real dialogue is the only way out, together if you can manage it harmoniously or with a professional. There'll need to be boundaries put in place that you both agree to as this can be an addiction like any other. As with any addiction, if the person won't acknowledge it or take responsibility, that needs facing.
