London House in Battersea Square has an informal area which could work nicely, and would still feel special to mark the occasion.

Been to 50th birthday celebrations at The Alma and Brinkley's Kitchen and Chez Bruce. All have a private space that you can have for small groups. Chez Bruce's is the most private as it is upstairs. All very lovely with different vibes and price points. Enjoyed them all. Happy celebrarting.

I am looking for a restaurant/pub for a 50th lunch. Idea is to start 2ish and be able to stay until 6ish. Want good food and a great friendly atmosphere - not interested in anywhere too trendy - more local orientated where you can let your hair down.
Somewhere with Pagliaccios atmosphere but a bit more refined.
There are about 15 of us and would ideally like somewhere not too far from Clapham/balham/wandsworth - but open to suggestions!
