Hello
We were looking to buy in East Molesey last year and it is far nicer than West Molesey, and the locals would say the same. It's a little down-at-heel shall we say. You are closer to shops, nice restaurants, the river and the housing stock is more interesting in East Molesey. However, prices are much higher, demand is greater (it's usually closed bids and open day viewings) and you have to contend with tourists swarming all over the place in the summer months due to the proximity of Hampton Court Palace. You might want to look slightly further afield, in Thames Ditton or Hampton Wick. We ended up buying in Teddington which is also a great area and prices are on a par with East Molesey. Good Luck
