We registered on a website called www.opora.uk which has a database to link hosts and Ukrainian refugees. We linked up with a lady on this site and after some chats we completed the visa application form for her. Hopefully it won't take too long for it to come through though she also has to get out of Kharkiv...

Can you link to it? I can't find your site online amidst all the other refuge listings. 

We can't offer to host but at the very least want to express our admiration for what you are doing - thank you on behalf of all of us who feel so helpless in the face of these atrocities.  We will look at other ways on which we might be able to help you.

Hi Everyone! I’m Mo Haque and with a friend have set up a website ukrefuge (our online dotcom site)which connects UK household with refugees, which you can’t do from the Government website.

We set it up because we felt helpless at the terrible devastation and despair we saw unfolding on our screens, and wanted to do something more.

Do please take a look and register as a host if you can. But please also send us to others - WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages etc. - so we can help some desperate people.
