To the OP: Who told you to '... get some tablets'?? Your GP? When I had my child 44 years ago, pregnant women were told to stuff down their throats iron tablets. At the time, controversial, & many refused. Instead, why don't you eat foods rich in iron, such as dark green leafy veg., particularly spinach (it worked for Popeye), beans & lentils, fortified breakfast cereals, nuts, dried fruit, even eggs (if u eat them), etc. There's a whole list of them out there. Don't be pushed into taking supplements if you don't really need them. But, if you do, go to a proper pharmacy, & not a drug store like Boots.
