Hi Sweet P,

Please don't worry about this. Private tuition is not a one-size fits all solution and a good tutor will be able to support your child to make good progress whenever you engage them.

In London, we're fortunate to have a wealth of different options available: including 1:1, online learning programmes and group tuition. If you'd like any advice / support in creating a learning plan for your daughter, feel free to message me: naomi@thebrainery.co.uk

Best,

Naomi

Hi SP,

Firstly, I would like to assure you that you are not being naive in not having a tutor yet. Many parents decide to hire a tutor at different times for various reasons, and it is not uncommon to hear of some families engaging tutors earlier than others.

It's worth noting that engaging a tutor is a personal decision, and the right time to get on board varies depending on your child's needs and your personal preferences. Some parents prefer to get a tutor at the start of the academic year, while others wait until their child struggles with a particular subject.

At JK Educate, we recommend starting with an assessment, which helps to identify areas that your child needs extra support in. After this, we can help you decide on the best approach, including the right timing to meet your child's needs.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us for further guidance and support.

Kind regards,
JK Educate

HI I have a daughter in year 4 of a good local State School and am learning that many have already engaged tutors. Have I been super naive in not getting one sorted? Am I too late and if I'm not not when is the usual time to get one on board.

Many thanks SP
