Hi,

Congratulations! It can be quite overwhelming!
I think you need to try and figure out what / where you are going to use it most and what you value and that will help you narrow it down.

For example we have the Fox 5 from Bugaboo as we valued a sturdy pram that we can take through the commons. It has great suspensions so easy to go through all terrains, but it is really bulky so if we need to take it anywhere, it takes up the whole of our boot!

As the previous person mentioned, a lot of people have 2 prams, one for at home and one for travelling. We avec the Nuna TRVL which is bigger than the yoyo and can’t fit in the overhead storage on planes but we preferred as seemed sturdier. The one thing we are unhappy about with this one is that the buckle to strap the baby in is not a proper « clip in » and comes undone from time to time.

You can go to places like John Lewis on Oxford Street or Mamas and Papas to try out some of the prams to get a feel for the differences.

For second hand - it is worth having a look at the Fara shops (Northcote road and Hildreth street), as well as on Vinted online. Both are also a great source for secondhand baby clothes!

Hi,

Congratulations! We love our Uppa Baby Vista (American brand I’m pretty sure). Has served us very well for our first child and now 3 years later for our second. Very sturdy and bassinet is also safe for overnight sleeping (great if you travel somewhere). Folds easily and has a massive basket! Also converts to a double if you need that option. The cruz is the single only version.

We also have a Baby Zen yo-yo for travel. Very compact and I love the lightness of it and how small it is if you’re needing something more compact!

Good luck with the search! 😊

Hi there

Starting to look at prams and OMG... it's a whole new world!
So many options and price differences can be HUGE (and not always clear why). I obviously don't want to compromise on safety or comfort but also don't want to overpay.
I also realised that most brands are made in china (or similar) and when I see the prices of some of them,I found it astonishing!

Ideally, we would like a whole set with pushchair, carrycot and car seat (including base). Any good brands you would recommend? Any brands you would NOT recommend?
I am open to second hand but not sure where to look.

Thank you!
