There’s one thing being woken up by chatter, cars, etc. it’s another listening to loud hard bangs that ricochet though the neighbourhood due to a lack of natural sound insulation. Construction work doesn’t start until 8am and the sounds created are on a par with that.

And Trinny, you’re correct.

Surely you should just speak to them?

7.15am doesn't seem crazy early though, and living in a busy city like ours comes with lots of noise and disturbances -- it's not a sleepy village after all.

Tough one.  Perhaps try knocking on their door and politely asking them to stop because you can hear the noise in your house and it is disturbing you ?  If you cant face that level of confrontation, try a letter through the letterbox ?

Someone in the neighbourhood has a bowling machine and is playing cricket every morning at 7.15am. The THWACKS and CRACKS every 30 seconds sound like someone is shooting and it’s massively triggering. What can I do?
