Old school ice cream vans are fantastic fun. We hired one a couple of years ago. Most are independents. Best to chat to them and get quotes :)

I second the ice cream cab. They were great at the power station event.

Brilliant idea! I went to a kids party a few years ago where they did this. The dad said it cost a fortune to hire a kind of special provider so he just asked one of the vans loitering round a common if he fancied selling guaranteed 25 ice creams in 10 mins and the guy just charged him for what he sold.
Hope the party is fun x

Hi
Two suggestions for you.

At the Battersea Power Station Easter event there was a converted Taxi doing icecream - they are: http://www.theicecreamcab.co.uk/

Secondly, there is a local company that has a fleet of ice cream vans which is Capitan Corelli on Battersea Park Road (132-134 Battersea Park Rd).

Great idea - just designate someone to clear up the sick :)

They are all parked up down a little bit on Bellamy Street - like 8-10 vans. There is a little gap in houses and there is a small yard. xxx

Oddono's Gelatti in Northcote Road does children parties.

There's always ice creams vans parked up outside the row of shops opposite the care home on Battersea park road. Not sure if it's a company base or just them hanging out but maybe you could go have a chat x

Ice cream vans

Hi

I am organising my daughters birthday party and just doing something small in the garden (as it will be summer - fingers crossed). Thought it might be fun to have an ice-cream van come by and let them all get an ice cream. Someone did it at a party I was at about 4 years ago and it was really lovely.

I had a look on-line but it was all about hiring one for an event. I wasn't thinking to hire an ice-cream van as I just wanted to ask someone who is running one on that day to pass by the house and stop for 10 minutes.

Does anyone know anyone with an ice cream van that would be interested in stopping by? or have any suggestions about how to find someone? It would be in Battersea on Saturday 1st July about noon.

Thanks
