What colour was the bag as I came across one in the street a few days ago.

I'm part of a team currently mkaing a BBC1 series called Caught Red Handed. The programme looks at the many ways in which the police, businesses and indivuals are using clever technology to stop crimes or wrongdoing.

We're currently making a piece about handbag theft with City of London Police.

Just a warning to everyone to really keep an eye on your handbags :(

I was sat at a table with a friend enjoying dinner and my handbag under my chair. It was only when I went to get my phone out, I noticed my bag had disappeared! Didn't notice anything suspicious so must have been a very opportunistic thief, was literally under everybody's noses!

So please be careful and watch your bags!
