I would love him handing over his card if it was for a monthly box of truffles (not for lingerie nor even flowers...too 'macho' I'd think)

It's a little too much like your husband getting his PA to choose underwear for you.

Much too impersonal for my liking! I want thought to have gone into him choosing something for me that he knows I will love, not just handing over his card details!

I think it is a lovely idea, really lovely.

But the word panties doesn't do it for me.

Lingerie, yup!

But panties: no!

Thanks for sharing though, it is really hard to get good presents for Valentines Day so you have done us a favour.

:D

No it's not an ad. I just thought it was a nice, quirky idea worth sharing.

Sorry, not sure if I'm allowed to say this, but the original post reads suspiciously like an advert by someone who works for the company.

Not entirely convinced by the idea, either...

I really hate the word panties - it would be another monthly curse for me

Ooooh! It sounds wonderfully decadent :)
Wish there was a similar service for jewellery.
Lucky you!

I am glad you like the gift Irsmum.

I have to say that I would absolutely hate to receive "panties" for valetine's and can think of nothing worse than having some random person who has never met me send me a pair every month. I am sure it's just me but the concept makes me cringe.

Thank god we are all different hey?

Hi ladies,
I felt compelled to mention this as I received the most wonderful Valentines surprise in the post today - the most beautiful pair of panties in lovely packaging with a romantic little gift card! And...the best thing is I get one of these every month, apparently.
My husband has signed me up to Secret Envelope which is basically a lingerie postal service where they send you a surprise pair of designer knickers every month. Instead of him having to choose (which he's useless at!) they choose them for you, like a personal shopper. How cool is that? You can get an idea of the styles they stock on their website so it's not a total surprise, but their stuff is really gorgeous. I can't wait for next month now!
