I'm not sure if it would be too far from you but not far from Clapham North is the Anglo Spanish Nursery on Clapham Manor street. My two daughters have gone there and absolutely love it. The staff are so lovely, really enthusiastic and totally involved with the kids, the whole place has a real family atmosphere. Plus there is the added bonus of being exposed to a second language.
Good luck!

Hi,
My daughter goes to Mace Montessori on Wandsworth Road. She likes it. And I'd say I'm pretty happy with it.

Actually I had a one to one with her key worker the other week and was actually surprised to see how much more they do for their development than I thought.

Good luck,

My little girl used to go to Stepping Stones just off Acre Lane. I was really impressed with them, and every morning she'd kick her legs excitedly when we got to the door. She seemed to love it, and never wanted to get in the pram to come home at the end of the day.
Also- much cheaper than Babyroom, I looked around it and prefered the atmosphere at Stepping Stones.
xx

Visit the Asquith one on groveway, nr Stockwell tube. I visited loads in same area and this was my preferred one. Kind and supportive staff. Good space in and outdoors, food cooked on site by lovely smiley chef. Parking spaces for drop off and pick up off street. Also very
Flexible. May daughter went from age 18 months to 3.5. They have 3 different rooms and free flow to big garden. Was repainted last summer and manager was great and keen to develop things. Baby rOom has its own garden

They have open days.

I am looking for a good nursery in Brixton / Stockwell / Clapham North for my 7 month old baby boy. can anyone recommend some?

I have looked at Bright Horizons - thought the staff were very welcoming and friendly and although some of the toys were 'well-loved' thought there was a good variety of activities for the kids, including some outdoor space. The Ofsted report says it is satisfactory - however this was done in 2009 (unlike many of the others which were done in 2011) so this may be a little out of date.

Any recommendations welcome.
