The only thing that annoys me is that you can't take a buggy in and most of the consulting rooms are upstairs.

I have to disagree, if there is an emergency you can always get an appt on the day. If you want to see someone specific then it does take a while I agree. My query is the number of very young GP's who I think are trainees who are rubbish!! Why Dr Williams only works 1 day a week is also a mystery. I think the reception ladies are helpful too.

It's a great practice.
Dr. Harris is such a star and Dr. Williams, Dr. Bass and Dr. Jensen are all fantastic too. The only duff note for me used to be Dr.Langdon, but she's left now.
Gracie runs an excellent telephone triage - such a sensible lady and Bea is fast and calm with the kids jabs (she also does the only discomfort free smear tests around!)
I really landed on my feet joining them.

My experience on the whole has been pretty good there.

Dr Bass is definitely my favourite GP, she is very good with toddlers! We recently saw Dr Jensen too, and I was very, very impressed with her.

Having heard such good things about the head GP Dr Williams, I took my daughter to see her ages ago, but never went back to her... Not so impressed!!

Agree with all the other posters- Dr Williams and Dr Bass are great. Dr Jensen has recently joined the practice and she is absolutely fantastic and was superb with my baby boy. Dr Langdon had a very unfortunate bedside manor and I am pretty relieved we don't have to see her anymore.

The only thing that annoys me is that you can't take a buggy in and most of the consulting rooms are upstairs. With two little ones, I struggle sometimes to manage the logistics ....

They are wonderful. Dr Langdon has now left (gone to Australia, her replacement, Dr Geddy's who is a guy is lovely).

Dr Harris is not very friendly but he only works on a Thursday.

They are such a nice practice, and have been nothing but wonderful to me & my family. And if your'e planning on having a baby you can get into St Thomas' which very few hospitals around here let you do!

Hi
I have been using them for about 2 years and they are generally pretty good.

The nurses are incredibly efficient at baby injections. My one yr old barely has time to register the shock before he is whisked off the table and distracted.

Dr Williams (senior partner) and the young indian female doctor (forgotten her name) are very approachable and very good with kids.

There is a Dr Landor (sp?) in the back rooms who is frankly a bit grumpy and jobsworth and I try to avoid when possible.

Appointment availaibility is usually fairly acceptable and they open evenings. They also prioritise any baby appointments so the service for my son has been faultless.

Chemist right next door is really helpful too.

Hello,

Was wondering if anyone had any experience good or bad with Battersea Rise Group practice. Or if you would recommend somewhere else in the area? Am looking for a new GP for our family and new baby.

Many thanks!
