I too have been training with Elizabeth Kamm of Lovefitbetsy and can highly recommend her. She has been brilliant in advising me how to get into shape again after my second child. I really enjoy our sessions and as a result I'm feeling stronger, fitter, more energised and my old jeans are loose again!

I was really pleased to see another recommendation for Susan Lewis on here. I trained with her throughout my last pregnancy and she was FABULOUS. I usually visit the osteopath once a month or so, and during my previous two pregnancies I'd been twice a week towards the end, but when I was training with Susan I did not have to go at all. She is brilliant, and lovely, and great company. I wholeheartedly recommend her whether you are pregnant or not!

Depends what you're looking for, but may be worth speaking to a lovely lady called Susan, who coincidentally has recently been recommended by another user in the 'how to get rid of mummy tummy post':

http://www.nappyvalleynet.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=9256

She is a former professional dancer who has two children, so she knows a lot about both fitness and pregnancy - and I know she has pregnant clients. She has an incredible knowledge of anatomy and uses that, combined with pilates based exercise to create a tailored set of exercises. However, she's also a keen runner, so could probably do more cardio vascular stuff too. She's helped me hugely post birth (I too had a large bump and as a result had awful back pain and hip problems) - I'm now thinner than I've ever been, fitter, stronger, more flexible, and have no back pain (after 6 years of problems) so I can finally face the thought of getting pregnant again (I was too scared of the pain before). She's expensive, but I think is worth every penny - I've now stopped going to physio and chiropractors as Susan is helping me solve my back problems / fitness for the long-term rather than just giving me temporary relief.

If you find a good nutritionist I'd be interested to hear - would be good to know about for any future pregnancies.

Good luck!

I started personal training on wandsworth common with Elizabeth Kamm (lovefitbetsy.com) a few weeks ago, seven months after the birth of my second child- she specialises in pregnancy and post natal training.

She is absolutely lovely and is the first trainer to have really assessed what state I'm in after childbirth ( it's not a pretty picture!) and gently build up my programme.

I really enjoy our sessions and can really recommend her.

Hi all

I was wondering whether anybody can recommend a personal trainer who trains pregnant women? I would also like some nutritional advice as I don't want to get as big as my last pregnancies!

Thanks so much.
