Hi,
I have been mainly breastfeeding though giving the occasional bottle of expressed milk to my baby when it was convenient for my partner to give it or when we were out and about. He has had no problem switching between breast and bottle... until last week! We didn't give a bottle for a week and a half as there was no need, and now he flatly refuses it and gets really upset when we try. He's just turned 12 weeks. I have just read that this is often the first decision babies make around the 3 month time - I wish I'd read this earlier and I would have been much more consistent with bottle feeding!
Anyone else faced this problem and solved it? Any tips on how to crack this problem are welcome!
And can anyone recommend a lactation consultant who specialises in solving bottle refusal issues?
Many thanks in advance,
Laura
