I might be able to help with some answers to a few of the posts.

After much calling round today, I found out that every person - even a 1 year old - does need a ticket.

Also, do check on the Pageant website to find out which bridges are open and closed. Some of them - and I think Albert Bridge is one - are closed to the general public.

I wish I could have been the bearer of happier news. I hope everyone manages to watch the Pageant or get the tickets they want!

Battersea Jubilee - what if you don't have tickets?

by TupeloHoney » Tue May 29, 2012 3:44 pm

Having read all the posts about needing tickets for Battersea Park this weekend I realise that my incredibly smart plan of just pitching up to Albert Bridge and enjoying the festivities might be shared by the rest of SW London and beyond!

So - where do you think is a good place to watch with 2 small kids? Am I mad to even think of battling the scrum on Albert Bridge? Will I even be able to watch it there?

I'm feeling like I'm a bit late to the Jubilee party... everyone else seems to have big plans and I'm going to be waving my solitary flag in the garden

It really annoys me! I couldn't really give a toss about their festival (which will just be an opportunity to get us all to spend loads of money anyway). I just want to visit my local park with my famly to watch what is supposed to be a wonderful free celebratory event for everyone.

Ditto! I need 3 adult tickets. And happy to pay more! Odd that so many locals are ticketless. It was not well advertised and sold out so quickly!

Another one here who did not realize about the tickets. Desperately looking for 4 tickets (2 adults plus 2 children).

IF you have any, will gladly pay extra and pick them up directly!

Help. I had no idea you needed tickets for Sunday's Battersea Park festival, does anyone have 4 tickets they would like to sell or know where I can buy some.

Huge thanks

Hello I have also been completely out of the picture on this event as I thought you could just turn up -I had no idea tickets were involved. If anyone has 2 adult and 2 child tickets me and my family would love to go - we are happy to pay extra and pick up tickets. Thankyou!
