I used to take a banana or avocado to mash up when mine were little because they would eat it at room temp. Banana and avocado mixed together sound gross but are yummy!
It might be helpful to pack a couple of the Ellas kitchen pouches for just in case too (you can stand them in hot water to heat up)

From memory, most French service stations have microwaves etc specifically for feeding babies.

Travelling with a six month old

We are driving to France and I am worried about what to do when my six month old gets hungry. Milk is not an issue as he is still breastfeeding but am unsure as to how I can heat his food on the move. I have looked at travel heaters but they seem to focus on bottles more. So far his food is all home made but he does not like it cold. Any ideas for me?????

I have a week to sort this out....
