Hi, I thought I'd leave a reply here in case for anyone who's stumbled across this post recently looking for a photographer themselves!
I'm a local baby and family photographer - Louise Rose Photography - based in Balham (but will come to you), and specialise in taking relaxed and informal portraits in your own home and outdoors. You can see some recent portraits here: http://louiserosephotography.com/babies-and-children And also testimonials here: http://louiserosephotography.com/testimonials Do get in touch if this sounds like what you're looking for - I look forward to hearing from you!Image

Is it selfish to recommend myself?! I am great with children (having a 3 month old and a 2-1/2 year old keeping me on my toes). I can come to you or, if the British weather cooperates, we could shoot on one of the local Commons? My rates are very reasonable, with either pay-per-photo or all-inclusive options to suit your budget. Please visit my website and get in touch if you are interested: info@joycegrigorey.com

We used a lady called Aga who was great. She took photos outdoors of my 2 year old & newborn & they turned out brilliantly. She somehow got my toddler to do all sorts of stunts for the camera - with me he just looks away!

You get all photos in high res on a dvd with 10 or 15 (can't remember) of them edited.

I'd definitely recommend Paul Whitehill at www.picturethisphotos.co.uk

We've used him for both of our children when they were babies (most recently in June) and he came to our house which made things much more relaxed than going to a studio. His rates are really good ... It's about £150 for the shoot and that includes 4 hi-res photos, and additional ones are £20 (but you do get ALL of the photos on a CD in low-res which are perfect for uploading to Facebook etc but not for high quality prints).

Paul is really lovely and has children of his own and is great at putting them at ease. I know you can see photos on all photographers websites but I'd be happy to show you some of the ones Paul took for us, as websites generally show their very best images!

Hi,

I am looking for a photographer to take some photos of my 5 month baby and also some family photos with my 3 year old.
We would like natural photos taken in our home.

Any reccomendations of good photographers?
