I would recommend the Tavistock Centre for Couples Counselling. It is at Warren Street and doesn't take long on the tube. We have seen a number of counsellors over the years and the one we are seeing now is far and away the best - most challenging but also most understanding. It is expensive but worth it. Good luck!

Sorry to hear your troubles but well done for seeking help. I can really recommend counselling although I'm afraid our counsellor has moved away.

I did try another local one called Gill Gorell-Barnes who promises quick results. I think the results must be quick because her agressive method nearly split us up and she charged a fortune for the pleasure. In short I definitely wouldn't recommend her, but you could get a referral from your GP.

Good luck.

Try James Mann 02076228700 or 07725056473. He is based off Macaulay Rd. not sure if he does couples but if not then he would be able to recommend someone

Sorry to hear about this. Counselling can be a really positive experience for lots of people and in my view it is a great idea to go, but v important to find a good counsellor. I would thoroughly recommend Sarah Benamar who is based in Balham. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that.. It's often a unforeseen strain on any good marriage when you're trying for a baby.
I don't know of any locally, but understand you want someone who is at the very least your age group, I get that.
Good luck. Chin up. Marriages all have ups and downs I hope someone here can offer some recommendations for you both.

Good Marriage/couples Counsellor??

Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good couples counsellor around Balham or Clapham?

We are feeling under pressure trying for a baby and its manifesting itself in so many ways (niggling and frustration) that I think we would benefit from seeing a counsellor.

We are really keen to see someone that we connect with - we have seen someone last week who was just not right for us at all...

Thanks
