Hello
I know exactly how you feel. My daughter was exactly the same, but miraculously became dry at 8.
There is a lovely nurse who specialises in this at Balham Health Centre - I got a referral through our GP. She did supply an alarm. It wasn't very good at staying in place so it that respect it was ineffective, but I think the fear of the shrill alarm going off in the middle of the night was enough to trigger something in my daughters brain.
It probably doesn't sound very helpful but it will sort itself out and seeing LInda the nurse is very reassuring. When my daugher went on a school trip, I spoke to the school and was amazed to find out how common it was. I wish with hindsight I hadn't got so worked up about it, but it is easy to say that now.
You can get the alarms on line - they are quite expensive. I think we waited about 3 months to get one from Balham Heatlh Centre, but in that time we did try drinking more during the day and controlling evening drinks as guided by Linda.
Good luck
