£450 seems ridiculous. Check out Will Aid - in November solicitors are doing wills for no fee, you just pay a donation to charity.

Sorry to hijack the post, but on the subject, can I anyone advise on what is reasonable for a pair of fairly standard mirror wills please?

We have just been charged £450 by a solicitor in Morden for what I thought was a pretty basic and not particularly good service.

Thanks

Try Harriet Turnbull, she has just moved to Alan Buckley from the city and is very good. Wills are her speciality and the prices are very reasonable.
