There is a shop on East Hill which does amazing celebration skills & they are so reasonably priced. They made my son's Christening cake & it was delicious.

Clearly a bit late, but www.victoriadefty.co.uk cakes are amazing and she is very flexible!

Just a quick note to say thanks so much for your recommendations. Went to Northcote Patisserie in the interests of saving time and they were great - a delicious cake done in the space of four days, and it was an absolute bargain too! It would never have occurred to me to try them for this sort of thing but I will definitely be going back now.

Northcote Patisserie have made cakes to order for me before so I am sure if you went in today/tomorrow that they could do it for this weekend.

Hi - i'm not sure if she can help but Polly at The Cobham Cake Company (30 mins down the A3) did mine fairly quickly and it was brilliant!

I am ashamed to admit that I have failed to organise a cake for my son's christening this Sunday (21st October). From a quick trawl on the internet, it looks like I needed to have been a lot more organised if I had wanted to order anything remotely personalised, but I'm hoping there might be a nappyvalleynetter out there who knows of someone / somewhere in the area who might be able to make a cake (that doesn't cost the earth) in time....???
