It's worth bearing in mind that the 'stacker' buggies like Phil & Ted's oblige one child to sit staring at the back of a seat whilst sitting right at car exhaust level. They might be nippier and narrower, but that would put me off.

We bought some clips that snap together two maclarens off Amazon.

Clipped together - the buggies were a bit wide - but our nanny stayed local and we just switched to a buggy board a year later. We only had the share 2 days a week so didn't make sense.

Both families had bugaboos and the light, easily folded, £99 maclaren was a good purchase for both of us. Much better than investing in a Phil and teds - which only makes sense if you are planning to have another kid in the next year or so, and have somewhere to store it.

I would reccommened a phil and teds or mountain buggy (you can get them small these days to) city select I used was so heavy and so big. Phil and teds are perfect.

I used a baby jogger city mini double when doing my share. The seats lie flat which is good for naps! It fits through most doors, and importantly folds down easily for storage.

Your nanny will probably have an idea of what they like!

We had a "cheap" double when we started the Nanny share and soon bought a Phil and Teds. I bought it and then used it when I had number 2. The nanny HATED the cheap side by side and LOVED the Phil and Teds.

I think the mountain buggy do a small duet version which looks good (and narrow) as well.

The children are going to be one in January when it begins.

Deending on the age of the kids, but would probably say the Phil and Teds one. Tend to see it around and spoken to some that do nanyshare and they have that one aswell.

What double buggy would you recommend to use? Given that doors are not wide and have to travel through the house. What works well?
