The One O'clock clubs are great, and free! If you're in Tooting Bec there's one at the Faylands centre or if you're nearer Broadway there's one behind The Leather Bottle pub off Garratt Ln.

Monkey Music
Gymboree
Waterbabies/Aquatots
Tin Pan Annie
Playgroup
Local library

Loads and loads to do in the area. All cost money of course, playgroup and the library being the cheapest/free! The first 4 all have websites. Try the NCT site for local playgroups or ask on here, someone's bound to know.

Good luck. Once they hit 18 months they're much better at entertaining themselves (in my limited experience of one child!!) but until then we all know how spectacularly dull and challenging it can be in equal measures!!

Activities for 1 year old?

Hi,

Could anyone recommend activities/clubs, etc for 1 year old? My daughter goes to nursery 2 days a week and I am at home with her the other 3 week days but feel she is no longer content with being at home and playing with her toys alone and craves stimulation and activities. Any recommendations welcome.
Thank you
