I love this place I have been going a couple of times a week since opening and they are really lovely staff, great coffee and cake and something about the lighting really seems to chill out my baby.

Also can recommend the newly opened Tota, just a couple of doors down from Tartine on tooting high street. Fab breakfast and lovely staff.

Tooting really is becoming a lovely parent and baby coffee location :-)

No the part of antic in trouble owns The Whetsheaf, Balham Bowling Club. The other part is fine, which owns G and M. It aint going nowhere!

It is great for cocktails too! Didn't know it was for sale. I had heard that part of the Antic group might have gone into administration though, such a shame.

I can also recommend it, great baked products, its a bit different and a large space.

Strange thing is that it has only just opened but it is for sale - the group that own it want to sell. Difficult times.

Should have said that it's located at Tooting Broadway, on Mitcham Road, just opposite Primark.

Graveney & Meadow - great coffee

by mrs_pavlova » Fri Feb 01, 2013 2:34 pm

I just wanted to recommend the Graveney and Meadow (no, I don't have any connection to them!) - but I had a fantastic coffee there this morning.

Loads of space for buggies, lots of high chairs available, friendly staff, amazing selection of bakery/cakes etc. to eat in or take away. Very reasonable price too. My 18 month old year old toddled around happily and it felt very chilled out and a nice place to escape the rain.

It did seem quiet in there, so I just wanted to spread the word!! I was chatting to the guy who made my coffee and he said that tapas is served in the evening, so I'm going to book to take husband some time.

Anyone else like it too?
