We used Mr Capps at Parkside for our boys hernia. I can't recommend him more highly. A very professional, capable dear man...wonderful with our boy.

My son had something removed at the Parkside by Mr Neil Bulstrode. he was excellent and was recommend by a private children's dermatologist at Great Ormond St. Would definitely recommend if it suits. He might not be the right person from a medical perspective though, but here is his website

I saw Eric Nicholls at the Lister Hospital but I think he also does consultations at Parkside. My daughter didn't need surgery in the end but I liked Dr Nicholls' approach - very reassuring. He came recommended by others too. His website is below.

Thank you.

It would be ideal to see someone closer to home, Does anyone know anyone at the Parkside hospital or have any experience of it?

Thanks

Go and see dr Fysh at Portland hospital. He's very well known and wonderful with children. Good luck!

Paediatric consultant to treat a hernia

Hi

My 2.5yr old has an Incarcerated right inguinal hernia. It was reduced in A&E last night but he needs surgery to remedy it. We are fortunate enough to have some private healthcare through work. Does anyone have any experience of having this treated and can recommend a consultant to us?

Many thanks!
