Hi
Did you mean the London Handy Team? if so a neighbour was raving about them last week at a coffee morning :D

We used Aryton when we did ours - couldn't say enough good things about them either.

Good Luck,

Fleur

Hello,

As a further option....

The guys at Gajaro Construction can offer the service. Typically a new sash window will cost £1100 per window and £575 for replacement sash windows including new cords and weights.(excluding box frame)

Ventrolla are a great company, they have a different technique to other sash companies and the quality of their windows is brilliant.

We are about to use again for the second time, in our new house, Paxton Restoration to draught proof our sash windows - we were really pleased with them, very professional and did a fantastic job.

The Sash Window workshop are also very good. They refurbed most of our windows and replaced one in our top bedroom - very efficient and they too tidied up after themselves.

We've just had our windows done by the London Sash Window Company and I thought they were very good. We had some overhauled and rehung and some refitted with double glazing and acoustic glass. The men who came and actually did the work were polite and cleaned up every day and considerate with noise when my daughter was asleep.

My husband's building maintenance company does sash windows and has had very satisfied customers within the borough. They're happy to give references and show their windows off. Feel free to call him - Dermot 077200 34805.

Sash Window needs replacing - Recommendations?

by madamex » Fri Mar 05, 2010 2:00 pm

Hello

I need to replace one of my sash windows with a wood double glazed sash. I have had a negative experience with a local company (no names though!) and wondered if anyone had any other suggestions?

Thanks
